More like Late Motivation Monday! And yet, I agree with this anonymous person. 🙂 You know the saying, ‘the power of one’? It’s so true! Sometimes it seems like our small actions don’t really effect anyone or any situation. But small actions over time make a difference, if not for someone else, but for yourself.
Think of one adversity you faced in your life. How did that shape you as a person? Did it help you become who you are today?
What a great quote! The lost art of listening…is, well, unfortunately a lost art. What do you do that helps you listen more intently?
I must agree with Confucius on this thought. The complicated part comes in when we overburden ourselves with wanting the outcome to be perfect or close-to. As a mom, it’s a good thing to learn to give yourself room for error. I can’t count how many times my dinner got stuck to the pot! When I don’t expect anything, and results happen, it’s a great feeling! But when I set my standards too high, I’m setting myself up for disappointment. What are your thoughts? …
